Pol hasn’t been captivated solely by nature. As a plein air painter, he has also painted in plazas and streets, bridges and cities, seeking to highlight the inherent beauty of human constructions while always striving to avoid the most realistic, radical, and absolute forms of figurative art.

His unique perspective and artistic understanding lead him not to paint as though capturing a photograph. Instead, he aims to expressively and suggestively capture the shapes, lights, and contrasts of the urban landscape.
